Sep12Movie Guy You're welcome. I do my best to give hensot reviews without spoiling the actual story.I watched three spy drama films last weekend and am just getting caught up with the reviews. So far, I have reviewed Spartan, and am in the process of writing reviews for Spy Game and The Good Shepherd. Spy Game was a pretty good movie which I would recommend watching. The Good Shepherd was also good but long (almost three hours) and not much action.Thanks for your comment.~ MovieGuy
Sep12Gil Thanks for the thorough reivew of Safe House, Movie Guy! I went online yesterday and rented Safe House before I left my office at DISH, and it was downloaded and ready to from my Hopper DVR when I got home Unfortunately, I have to agree that this was just another average thriller; I had high hopes for the movie considering the cast. In the end it was kind of forgettable. The action was solid but the pacing was off and there really wasnâ€™t anything original going on in the film.
I sort of had the same problem with Sinister as I did with Insidious where I was rellay enjoying it up until the end. Some of it felt rushed and I would have liked to see the daughter becoming more possessed throughout the movie instead of just showing up with an axe! You know, I absolutely loved Insidious up until the end. I just wish they wodlun't have just out right showed the demon. That was one of those moments where I think Wan should have left the audience use their imagination. Maybe everyone you watched it with have bad taste in movies!
